While our first year was filled with developing our identity through worship, home gatherings, DNA groups and third place events, since 2017, the Community Directors (Jordan Even, Hernan Guevara, Zach Peterson, Susan Rowan, Kristi Schultz, Robyn Tarnowski) have been tasked with developing simple systems for Cypress Chapel. [i.e. What volunteers/tasks are needed each week for worship? The system would identify how to recruit volunteers, organize, schedule and lead/serve in regular rotation with other volunteers and Directors per the worship plan. What system is in place to move worship attendees to home gathering participants?]
The Community Directors will assist the pastor in the area of building systems for corporate needs, support the mission and ministry of the congregation by financial, business, and spiritual advancement, and give guidance and counsel in additional affairs. They will also offer encouragement and be an advocate in any other matters that may affect this community.
